ステファヌ・マラルメ「賽の一振り」／アラン・バディウ「思考する芸術ー非美学への手引き」の読書会を開催します。
かつて「純粋詩」の極北として位置付けられ、ブランショやバディウら数多の哲学者たちの目を奪ってきたこの詩篇は、現代においても「星空の次元の高み」でひっそりと開かれ続けています。
詩人の手つきで紙面から真理を拾い、哲学の視座で思考することで、偶然の配置が意味を結ぶ瞬間に立ち合います。身体を通じて体得されたこのプロセスは、アルゴリズムによって駆動する現代のメディア環境に潜む、意味操作の構造をも明らかにすることでしょう。

Reading Stéphane Mallarmé A Throw of the Dice / Alain Badiou Art as Thinking: An Introduction to Non-Aesthetics
We are pleased to invite you to a reading session devoted to Stéphane Mallarmé’s Un coup de dés jamais n’abolira le hasard (A Throw of the Dice) alongside Alain Badiou’s Art as Thinking: An Introduction to Non-Aesthetics.
Once positioned at the farthest limit of “pure poetry” and a source of fascination for philosophers from Maurice Blanchot to Badiou, this work continues — quietly yet inexorably — to open itself in what Mallarmé called “the lofty heights of the stellar dimension.”
In this gathering, we will draw truth from the page with the hand of the poet, and think with the gaze of philosophy, witnessing the moment in which the chance arrangement of words crystallizes into meaning. This embodied process will also illuminate the structures of meaning-manipulation that underlie the algorithmically driven media environments of our present.
