ミザンセーヌの転位｜Mise-en-scène dislocated
monade contemporary | 単子現代は、池田剛介、松井照太、李曜丞（リー・ヤオチェン）、Anthony Plasse（アンソニー・プラス）による「ミザンセーヌの転位｜Mise-en-scène dislocated」展を開催します。本展は、同タイトルのもと異なる構成で展覧会を行うUnfold Contemporary、およびD ARTSとの共同企画となります。
鉱物、あるいは非有機的な物質は、地質学的な時代の位相において、道具、資源、宝飾、そしてアートとして、解釈上の光学のもとでさまざまな様相を垣間見せてきました。本展では、池田剛介、松井照太、李曜丞、Anthony Plasseによる平面、立体・インスタレーション作品をとおして、非有機的な物質が時代を超えてミザンセーヌ（舞台装置）としてあることの条件を探ります。
池田剛介はエネルギーや物質の変化に注目しながら、事物それ自体の存在のありようを問う作品を展開します。松井照太は、自然物である石に樹脂やガラスといった人工物を組み合わせ、マテリアルの物質性を相互に浮かび上がらせます。李曜丞は、石の光を反射する性質を生かして、空や山などの風景を彫刻にとどめます。またAnthony Plasseは、写真表現の実験的な探究をとおして、絵画的な空間を生成させようとします。
歴史や地理といった時空間の制約を超えて鉱物、あるいは非有機的な物質が照らし出す、ミザンセーヌの転位をご覧ください。

池田剛介
美術作家。1980年福岡県生まれ。京都造形芸術大学卒業。東京藝術大学大学院修了。人間をとりまく物質やエネルギーの存在への関心を軸に、絵画やインスタレーションなど表現形式を横断しながら制作を行う。2019年より京都にてアートスペース「浄土複合」をディレクション。著書に『失われたモノを求めて――不確かさの時代と芸術』（夕書房、2019年）。 http://kosukeikeda.net/
松井照太
彫刻家。1994年京都府生まれ。2018年京都市立芸術大学彫刻専攻卒業。自然物である石に樹脂やガラスといった人工物を組み合わせ、マテリアルの物質性を相互に浮かび上がらせる作品を制作。近年の主な展覧会に『伝統のメタボリズム〜見立て〜』（SHUTL/東京/2024）、『和を以て物語をなす』（瑞雲庵/京都/2023）など。

李曜丞（リー・ヤオチェン）
彫刻家。1993年台湾・台中生まれ。 大理石を主な素材に、化学的変化や物理的要素を取り入れながら、物質性と物語性を兼ね備えた作品を制作している。彫り下げ、流し込み、磨き上げの過程に現れる石目や光と影の表情、そして細心に配置したフィギュア模型を通して、生物や人間の「走光性」のさまざまな現れを表現する。近年の展覧会に「光を追いかけて」（富貴美術館、ニュー台北、2023年）、「現実と夢の共振」（名山芸術、台北、2024年）がある。台北や釜山、その他国際的なアートフェアにも多数出展。 https://www.instagram.com/li_yao_cheng/
Anthony Plasse（アンソニー・プラス）
1987年生まれ。リヨン国立高等美術学校（フランス）、DNSEP（上級国家造形表現学位）。近年の展覧会に、2025 – 2013（ Poush, Aubervilliers, 2025）、「réparer」（telescope、京都、日本）、 「le pli」（La Chapelle Jeanne d’Arc Contemporary Art Center, Thouars, フランス, 2024）などがある。また、「Introducing」（Annabelle Gugnon, ArtPress 533, 2025）などで紹介されている。

Mise-en-scène dislocated
monade contemporary | 単子現代 is pleased to present Mise-en-scène Dislocated, an exhibition featuring works by Kosuke Ikeda, Shota Matsui, Yao-Cheng Lee, and Anthony Plasse. This project is organized in collaboration with Unfold Contemporary and D ARTS, who will present an exhibition of the same title in different configurations.
Minerals and other inorganic materials have, across geological epochs, appeared under various interpretations — tools, resources, ornaments, and works of art — depending on the optics of interpretation optical and conceptual frameworks applied to them. Through two-dimensional works, sculptures, and installations by Ikeda, Matsui, Lee, and Plasse, this exhibition explores the conditions under which inorganic matter may persist as mise-en-scène — scenography or stage setting — across time.
Kosuke Ikeda develops works that question the very mode of existence of things themselves, with a focus on transformations of energy and matter. Shota Matsui combines natural stones with artificial materials such as resin and glass, bringing forth the materiality of each in relation to the other. Yao-Cheng Lee utilizes the reflective qualities of stone to capture landscapes such as skies and mountains within sculpture. Anthony Plasse, meanwhile, seeks to generate painterly spaces through experimental explorations of photographic expression.
We invite you to experience Mise-en-scène Dislocated, where minerals and inorganic matter illuminate beyond the constraints of history and geography.

Kosuke Ikeda
Artist. Born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1980. Graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design (now Kyoto University of the Arts) and completed a graduate degree at Tokyo University of the Arts. With an interest in the existence of matter and energy surrounding human beings, Kosuke Ikeda creates works transcending expressive forms such as paintings and installations among others.Since 2019, the artist has been directing the art space “Jodo Complex” in Kyoto. Publications include In Search of the Lost Thing: The Age of Uncertainty and Art (Seki Shobo, 2019).
Shota Matsui
Sculptor. Born in Kyoto Prefecture in 1994. Graduated from the Department of Sculpture, the Kyoto City University of Arts in 2018. He creates works that combine natural materials such as stone with artificial ones such as resin and glass, revealing their material qualities in relation to one another. His recent major exhibitions include Metabolism of Tradition – Mitate (SHUTL, Tokyo, 2024) and Weaving a Story in Harmony (Zuiun-an, Kyoto, 2023).

Yao-Cheng Lee
Sculptor, born in 1993 in Taichung, Taiwan. Working primarily with marble, Lee creates works that combine materiality with narrative by incorporating chemical and physical processes. Through carving, casting, and polishing, the textures of the stone, the play of light and shadow, and carefully arranged miniature figures are used to explore various manifestations of the phototactic tendencies of living beings and humans. Recent exhibitions include Chasing Light (Fuguei Museum, New Taipei, 2023) and Resonance of Reality and Dreams (Mingshan Art, Taipei, 2024). Anthony Plasse
Born in 1987. Graduated from the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Lyon (France), DNSEP (Diplôme National Supérieur d’Expression Plastique). Recent exhibitions include 2025 – 2013 (Poush, Aubervilliers, 2025), réparer (telescope, Kyoto, JP, 2025), and le pli (La Chapelle Jeanne d’Arc Contemporary Art Center, Thouars, FR, 2024). The works have also been featured in Introducing, by Annabelle Gugnon, ArtPress 533, 2025.
