〈展覧会情報〉
写真は時間のなかで現実の痕跡を刻印する技術として、事物のイメージを生産してきました。本展では、田村尚子とAnthony Plasse（アンソニー・プラス）による写真的なイメージへの実験的な試みをとおして、身体と空間、および存在の相互関係について考察を深めます。
田村尚子は、人や家屋、共同体、風景に時間をかけて向き合いながら、身体感覚や建築空間を写真やインスタレーションとして再構成し、存在の気配を救おうとします。またAnthony Plasseは、メモの痕跡と光、場所の時間的・空間的な諸条件とその知覚について考察し、ドローイング的な手法として銀塩プロセスを用いながら絵画的な空間を生成させます。
写真的なイメージが気配となって支持体に刻印されるとき、まだそこにない存在はどのようにしていまここにある表象への抵抗として感じられるでしょうか。存在の暗がりからかすかに浮かび上がる、幽の刻にご参加ください。
田村尚子
写真家。初個展『Anywhere out of the world』を1998年に開催。国内外で写真を中心に展覧会多数。写真集に、『Voice』（青幻舎2004）、シリーズケアをひらく『ソローニュの森』（医学書院2012）、『attitude』（青幻舎2012）、2014-2015パリCite Internationale des Arts制作滞在ののち『Thaumata／タウマタ』（Taka Ishii gallery Photography paris, Tokyo2015）個展、帰国後『柿 KOKERA』（真珠菴2017）『土壁と柿』（公益財団法人竹中大工道具館、ヴュッター公園編2019）など古建築にまつわる写真と書籍をプロデュース。最近の展覧会に『ART MEETS07』、新収蔵作品展『コレクション＋』展(アーツ前橋,群馬2025）、第19回ヴェネチア・ビエンナーレ国際建築展にて写真と「旅する茶会」を発表。作品収蔵にサンフランシスコ近代美術館、アーツ前橋他。2008年よりアーティスト活動の展開の場として、芸術文化や哲学、映画を中心にした芸術創造企画・制作を手がける ”Vutter Kohen”（ヴュッター公園）を主宰。2021年より 「京都建築映像祭・KAFF」を立ち上げ、主催。

アンソニー・プラス
1987年生まれ。リヨン国立高等美術学校（フランス）、DNSEP（上級国家造形表現学位）。近年の展覧会に、2025 – 2013（ Poush, Aubervilliers, 2025）、「réparer」（telescope、京都、日本）、 「le pli」（La Chapelle Jeanne d’Arc Contemporary Art Center, Thouars, フランス, 2024）などがある。また、「Introducing」（Annabelle Gugnon, ArtPress 533, 2025）などで紹介されている。

〈Exhibition Information〉
Photography has produced images of things as a technology that inscribes traces of reality within time. Through experimental approaches to photographic imagery by Naoko Tamura and Anthony Plasse, this exhibition elaborates on the interrelations between body and space, and the existence itself.
Naoko Tamura engages over extended periods with people, house rooms, communities, and landscapes, reconfiguring bodily sensation and architectural space through photography and installation in order to reclaim the intimation of being. Anthony Plasse, meanwhile, reflects on the traces of notes and light, as well as the temporal and spatial conditions of a place and their perception, employing the silver gelatin process as a drawing-based method to generate a painterly space.
When photographic images are inscribed onto a support as a form of presence, how might an existence that is not yet there be sensed as a resistance to representation in the here and now? We invite you to enter the traces of obscurity, faintly emerging from the penumbra of being.
Naoko Tamura
Photographer. Held her first solo exhibition, “Anywhere out of the world,” in 1998. She has held numerous exhibitions domestically and internationally, primarily featuring photography. Photobooks include ‘Voice’ (Seigensha, 2004), the series “La forêt du Sologne” (Igaku-Shoin, 2012), “attitude” (Seigensha, 2012), Following a 2014-2015 residency at Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, held the solo exhibition ‘Thaumata’ (Taka Ishii Gallery Photography, Paris & Tokyo, 2015). After returning to Japan, produced photography and books related to ancient architecture, including ‘KOKERA’ (Shinju-an, 2017) and ‘Earthen Walls and KOKERA’ (Takenaka Carpentary Tools Museum, 2019). Recent exhibitions include selection for ART MEETS07 and the Collection+ Exhibition at Arts Maebashi (Gunma 2025), and presenting photography and “Traveling Tea Ceremony” at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia2025. In public collection at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and Arts Maebashi etc. Since 2008, has directed “Vutter Kohen” (Vutter Park), a platform for artistic activities focused on planning and producing creative projects centered around art, culture, philosophy, and film. In 2021, launched and organized the Kyoto Architecture Film Festival (KAFF).

Anthony Plasse
Born in 1987. Graduated from the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Lyon (France), DNSEP (Diplôme National Supérieur d’Expression Plastique). Recent exhibitions include 2025 – 2013 (Poush, Aubervilliers, 2025), réparer (telescope, Kyoto, JP, 2025), and le pli (La Chapelle Jeanne d’Arc Contemporary Art Center, Thouars, FR, 2024). The works have also been featured in Introducing, by Annabelle Gugnon, ArtPress 533, 2025.
